This paper investigates rural health professionals’ usage patterns and experiences with a digital support platform, identifying factors associated with usage and the likelihood of recommending it to colleagues.

ACHA has responded to the consultation on the draft Australian Medical Research and Innovation Strategy 2026 to 2031 and Priorities 2026 to 2028. ACHA's response calls for health access, rural and remote research participation, community involvement and research translation to be more clearly reflected in Medical Research Future Fund investment. The recommendations reflect ACHA's role in supporting the generation, translation and application of evidence to improve health access outcomes across under-resourced communities.

This study examined whether the quality of a short-term rural immersion experience influences medical students’ future engagement with rural health. It evaluated the Bush Bursary, a voluntary scholarship program administered by the Rural Doctors Network that places students in rural NSW communities during university breaks.
